Bookmark
Bookmarks are files that stored the answered variables given by the users during the consultation. This functionality allows to re create consultations with the answers given at certain moment.
The bookmarks are related with one specific KBA. If the KBA disappears or the KB is changed, the values stored in the bookmarks might not be valid any more.
The bookmark configuration is composed of two properties:
- Bookmark - it allows to disable the bookmark functionality and in case of using it, it specifies how the retrieval of the saved variables is going to be done:
- Disable bookmark button - disable the bookmark functionality (and the button in the consultation), for the specific KBA.
- Start from the first answered question - enable the bookmark functionality. When a bookmark is open, it introduces the value of the first answered question without continuing with the consultation.
- Start from the last answered question - enable the bookmark functionality. When a bookmark is open, it introduces the values of all the answered variables in the new consultation and execute the consultation until the first unknown question.
- Additional variables to save in the bookmark - as mentioned before, only the variables that the user answered during the consultation will be added to the bookmark. In case some extra variables (such us MSM parameters, date values...) needs to be saved, this is the place to configure them.
To change the bookmark properties perform the following steps
- In the overview screen, click on the button to open the settings screen of a specific KBA
- Expand the 'Advanced Settings' tab.
- In the "Bookmark" option, use the dropdown to change the setting. In the "Save extra variables to the bookmark" introduce the extra variables that need to be saved: Introduce the three first letters from the variable and select the variable name from the list.
- Click on the submit button to save the changes.
You now have successfully changed the bookmark properties of the KBA.
