Adding a variable to a frame

To add a variable to a frame, perform the following actions:

1. In the Navigator, select the Frames tab.
2. Double click on one of the frames.
3. Right click in an empty space in the frame window. A context menu opens. (For frames with variables already present, right click on any variable and use the insert variable options).
4. Select one of the options Insert Variable After or Insert Variable Before. A new and empty variable row is added to the frame.
5. Double click the new cell and type the name of a new variable.

Alternatively, you can select Insert Existing Variable to add a previously created standard variable. It is also possible to use the shortcut ctrl + i on Windows or cmd + i on MacOS to add new rows to a frame.
