Variables MD3

Create Initialisation Variable or Frame MD3

This cannot start in the properties of the table, but following the next steps.

  1. Create the variable or adapt an existing variable's properties. Its inference method cannot be Subtable.
  2. Open the properties of the table.
  3. In Inspector tab Specification right-click the section Initialisation Variables. Select Insert Variable. A list of variables appears.
  4. Double-click the desired variable, or select it and click Insert Variable.

Also a frame must be created first before destining it an initialisation frame.

  1. Create the frame or adapt an existing frame. The contained variables cannot have inference method Subtable.
  2. Open the properties of the table.
  3. In Inspector tab Specification right-click the section Initialisation Variables. Select Insert Frame. A list of frames appears.
  4. Double-click the desired frame, or select it and click Insert Frame. (Small bug: current MD3 still has button Insert Variable).

The frame merely acts as a "bundle" of variables, an ordered list. The variables are inferred starting consultation of the table. objects of the frame are not involved.
